We’re excited to announce our newest exhibit at SeaQuest Las Vegas – the white nosed coatimundi! These intelligent and playful mammals are native to areas from northern South America to the southernmost parts of Arizona and New Mexico.
Coatimundi are members of the Procyonidae family, which means they are closely related to raccoons and kinkajou. They’re very social creatures that travel in groups, holding their tails upright and chattering with one another.
While searching for food, they dig with sharp claws and poke their long snouts under rocks and into crevices. They’re omnivorous creatures so they’ll eat pretty much anything they can get their paws on!
We’re thrilled to add such a fun animal to our interactive experience. Like most of the other animals at SeaQuest, guests are invited to get up close and personal with our new coatimundi friends. Come meet them today and take advantage of our Winter Savings promotion! One free child admission with each paying adult when purchased online. Valid now through February 28.
Want to elevate your experience? Buy activity tokens to exchange for coatimundi food, and get even more up close and personal!
