Widespread throughout the Indo-Pacific region.

 

Animal Facts:

As their name suggests, Snowflake Eels have white, black and yellow splotches all over its body, which come together to look like snowflake designs.

Morays always have their mouths open, as the movement of opening and closing their jaws creates water flow over the moray’s small gills. They would suffocate if they closed their mouths.

While it averages 20 inches in length there has been some reported reaching lengths of 39 inches.
