SeaQuest Stonecrest is situated just 20 miles east of downtown Atlanta in the city of Stonecrest, Georgia. Located in DeKalb County, Stonecrest is a growing suburban area and is the neighbor of the city of Lithonia. Stonecrest offers acres of parks, recreational centers, and walking trails that are accessible year-round. Hiking and biking are popular activities in town. The city of Stonecrest is one of Georgia’s newest cities which now houses close to 50,000 residents. Other popular attractions in the area include AWARE Wildlife Rescue Center, Flat Rock Archives, and the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area. Nearby Atlanta is home to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) which is the busiest airport in the United States.

 

Georgia is in the southeastern area of the US, known as the Sunbelt. First settled in 1733, Georgia was the last and southernmost of the original Thirteen Colonies to be established. Ratified to statehood in 1788, Georgia has become a booming center of economic growth and a number of internationally recognized corporations have their headquarters in Atlanta, including Delta Airlines, United Parcel Service, Coca-Cola, The Home Depot, and Turner Broadcasting System. One of the most famous figures in history, Martin Luther King Jr was born in Atlanta and was pivotal in the 20th-century civil rights movement. Georgia has an extensive history and a variety of destination attractions and landmarks all over the state.

 

SeaQuest Stonecrest is located in the Mall at Stonecrest, just off I-20 and Turner Hill Road. The main entrance is located on the North side of the mall, just next to Lisa Young’s Department store.

• Sloth Interaction: Come meet our adorable sloth, Flash! You’ll get to feed, pet, and touch him in this once-in-a-lifetime experience all while learning about the sloth species and their natural habitats! Be sure to bring your camera for a selfie during your hand-feeding session.
• Wallaby Encounter: You’ll Wallaby Here for This! Step right into the Grasslands of the Australian Outback when you hang out with a Wallaby friend! Closely related to the kangaroo, wallabies are incredible animals who love to hop, skip and jump their way into your heart. You’ll be able to feed, pet, and even snag a selfie with these bouncy little creatures.
