Outdoor Activities for Kids in Vegas

Stratosphere Tower Skypod

If your family loves to fly and you can’t get enough altitude, this is the best attraction. At 1,150 feet high, the STRAT Tower boasts the highest observation tower in the country. You will be thrust into the air at eye-level with helicopters.

STRAT Tower has four separate rides the kids can enjoy: Big Shot, Insanity, X-Scream, and SkyJump. The most thrilling is SkyJump since it is a controlled free-dive to earth, unlike any experience you’ve ever tried before. There’s a large deck on the ground for visitors to mingle and observe as they watch their friends and family enjoy the thrills high up above!

High Roller Ferris Wheel Las Vegas

Get up high at The High Roller:  A giant observation wheel that goes up 550 feet in the air! This is the world’s biggest Ferris wheel and tops the London Eye by over 100 feet. For those who enjoy taking photographs or love seeing cities from a bird’s eye view, this is a must while exploring Vegas. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon with the family, as you all can take in the amazing views of the sprawling Las Vegas skyline. Fly LINQ Zipline

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a zipline! Nothing is more fun than flying through the air. Fly LINQ is an outdoor attraction in Vegas that boasts incredible sights and a good old-fashioned adrenaline rush. Strap up to a zipline as you fly in superhero position through the sky at astonishing speeds.

Starting at the 114-foot tower on Las Vegas Boulevard, the zipline launches you at upwards of 35 miles per hour as you scream in terror while flying above the city. You will land at the High Roller Ferris wheel just in time for the next big thrill. Riders must be between 60 and 300 pounds, and kids under 13 will need to strap up with an older rider.

Camel Safari Las Vegas

Camel Safari is located an hour north of Las Vegas, but it is worth the drive for an amazing day of outdoor fun and exotic animal encounters. You’ll get up close and personal with camels and exotic animals alike! They offer guided safari tours where you can choose to either ride a camel, ride the Safari train, or drive an ATV!  They have over 40+ camels who call the Las Vegas desert home! You’ll learn from an ambassador about the animals and be guided by the keepers to encounter some exotic animals. These safaris are 2-hour guided, interpreted tours. They also offer evening VIP Sunset Safaris – ideal for family gatherings or group events. You’ll watch a stunning Mojave Desert sunset while roasting marshmallows over a fire.
